Bake at 350°
1
cube butter
2¼
cups warm water
3
tablespoons sugar
1½
tablespoons yeast
4½
cups flour (and more as needed)
¾
teaspoon salt
Put
a rimmed cookie sheet in the oven with 1 cube butter. Watch it carefully so that it doesn’t
burn. Take it out as soon as the butter
is melted.
In
a bowl mix the rest of the ingredients.
Knead for 3 minutes
Pat
or roll dough on floured board to the size of your cookie sheet. Put more flour on top of dough and roll flat. Cut bread stick size trips with a pizza
cutter. Place two rows of strips on the
buttered pan and turn over to coast with butter. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and garlic
salt.
Bake
15-20 minutes to golden brown.
Jerry alternative: melt ⅔ cube butter in microwave.
Paint pan and cut dough with butter. This is still high in cholesterol, but
feels much healthier.
