Classic Hummus

1 can (15 oz) chick peas (garbanzo beans)
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cumin 
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
tablespoon tahini (optional)
Olive oil (optional)

Drain 1 can (15 oz.) of chick peas, reserving 1/4 cup liquid.  Place all ingredients in good processor/blender, and process/blend til smooth.  Add in reserved liquid until desired consistency.  Place hummus in bowl and drizzle a small amount of olive oil on top.  Serve with pita chips, veggies, gyros, etc.
