Oven at 350º
1 ½ cup flour
1 ½ cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup butter or margarine
¾ cup apricot jam
Mix dry ingredients together. Add sugar and butter or margarine. Mixture will be crumbly. Reserve ½ cup of mixture for topping. Pack remaining mixture firmly into 9x12 inch pan. Spread jam over the top of the mixture, almost to the edge. Sprinkle reserved mixture over jam. Bake in oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top is golden. Cool in pan or on a wire rack. Cut into bars and serve.
